nice new italian restaurant in heredia

I have to admit Im not an expert on italian food so I might be wayyy off on this one but Ive gone there 3 times now and I must say Im really impressed with their food, so far its been GREAT all three times

The place is called L'Antica Roma and its right in front of Hotel Valladolid, the big orange hotel near the Universidad Nacional.

If you're thinking of going and are not sure how to get there, just ask for Hotel Valladolid when you get to Heredia, anyone should be able to help you out then.

Judge, atmosphere...hmmmm....calm, easygoing, nothing fancy, just a park outside and have a meal type of restaurant

Ive had three kinds of pizza, rigatoni and some sort of lasagna, all were very good.

What would I recommend? At this rate anything on the menu..

Was there yesterday with the Old Lady Really enjoyable dinner....Huge menu ....There's a pizza for almost every capital in the world....Then the apps, pastas, man took us 30mins to go over the menu....The 2 entrees were both excellent....Give it a try !!!!!!!!

And yes, the menu is way too big, in fact its disturbing how big it is, by the time you get to pizza #131 you forgot which one had caught your attention....

The place is very nice i been there about six time so far, and i cant say anything bad about it, i was there just last night and the food was great, i go there alot for lunch with my boss, and hes italian and he seems to love it no complains from him either, i love the penne a la vodka, and the pizzas are good, prices are good enough, and the food is delicious.

Was just there for lunch (again) LOL and had the fettucine alla' amatriciana (or something like that) kicked ass (again)

I've gone there so much now that they're calling me by name and shaking my hand when I get there.
